Karl William Marx Senior, PhD. Founded the art of Keichu-Do Karate. |
Personal invitiation to learn Keichu-Do... Comments on an explaination of Keichu-Do, by the Grandmaster... Contact the organization... What is Keichu-Do? The experience of the designer/master of this fighting style started at the age of nine, back in 1945. In a three against one neighborhood gang fight, the keichu founder was victorious even with a stab wound in his back! He won the battle. Orange Texas was the site, and Marx won the fight. The uniqueness of Keichu is the manner in which it is administrated. Closely related to American boxing, and French Savate. Keichu mixes in a little Judo, a cup of Jiu-Jitsu, a pinch of Kung-FU, tablespoon of Karate, and Gallon of street wise Cajun fist-fighting. Certain human targets are the speciality of the Cajun fist fighter. A Keichu Practitioner strikes in places many fighters don't even know are vulnerable. For example, in many cases, we might strike and break our foe's hand. Another favorite attack spot is the other fellows collar bone. We love punching people on their elbows. The Keichu system of self-defense is designed to break a bone on our opponent with every punch. We almost always have a combination of at least three punches in succession. Sometimes breaking three bones simultaneously. This may sound rather cruel to some, however stopping a dangerous situation before it becomes deadly, is a smarter choice. Keichu warriors would rather refrain and just break a little bone, and stop the fight before serious injury occurs. That is the philosophy and difference between Keichu and other styles. Our primary objective is to defend ourselves. Simply put, Keichu may not be as attractive as other more traditional arts. If you want beauty, and flash, we are not for you. Now if you want practical, no nonsense just knock-um out techniques, that's us. Plain and simple, no frills. Learn tried and proven, rather than many spectacular but rarely if ever, been used in a real fight stuff. Cajuns from Louisiana fight different than most folks. Cajuns use every conceivable attack in existence. Now, to acquaint everyone with our uniquely American Louisiana style of Self-Defense. Keichu-Do, here is the entire package. Keichu-Ryu is the Cajun Karate style, Keichu-Hoshin-Jitsu, is the Ju-Jitsu/Judo Grappling aspects, and Keichu-Fudoshin-Ryu, is the Weapons division. All in all though, Keichu is just another kind of fighting. We don't claim to be better than any other style just different in some ways. As the founder of Keichu, my intention is to develop a special kind of attitude in each and every individual that studies Keichu. "Self-Defense is not a part time when you have time, kind of past time." "Defending one's self is a habit." Many other sports, such as Soccer, Basketball, Baseball, Football, might be more exciting to the practitioner. With so many people screaming, hollering, clapping and other encouraging side line antics it's easy to see why, especially children are pulled to those sports. However, even if one becomes a Super Star making millions of dollars a year, what good is all that, if you end up dead from substance abuse, or in Prison for sexually assaulting someone? Then there is the ever possibility of a child living a life of intimidation and fear of being beaten up by some bully. This experience follows one even through adulthood. So how do you defend against those kinds of attacks? HA! You learn Keichu-Do. Personal note from Mr. Marx: I give you my personal invitation to learn this easy method of self-defense. Contact me to get started. Ask me your questions, tell me your fears, and I will tell you how to stop being a victim and how to start living with confidence!
